ICF NIGERIA CHAPTER ON THE MOVE: EXECUTIVE COACHING PROGRAM

Executive coaches from ICF Nigeria  participated in a workshop for leadership development in Kigali, Rwanda on March 5th to March 7th. The workshop is part of a larger program designed for the financial services sector in the greater Eastern and Southern Africa Region.

The workshop was sponsored by the Financial Sector Deepening Africa (FSD Africa) organization. It is FSD Africa’s belief that purpose driven leaders, supported by accredited executive coaches, will provide improved quality of financial services, leading to increased financial inclusion, and therefore finance for growth. FSD Africa identified executive coaching for high potential talent within the financial institutions’ C-Suite as one of the priorities for fostering leadership in the sector. 12 experienced executive coaches were selected from over 40 applications received from various countries in Sub-Saharan Africa who will support leadership development through coaching in the program. Out of the 12 coaches selected, three were from Nigeria and all are members of ICF Nigeria. Selected executive coaches are: Ajibola Ponnle, Titi Akisanya and Adeboye Martins. The programme is planned to end in September.
